Conservation of Energy
In the absence of heat transport to or from the liquid, and if no work is done by the fluid or
mechanical energy is supplied to the liquid, the expression of conservation of energy yields the
same equations as the conservation of momentum principle.
So, Assume a pipe filled with stationary fluid of density ρ, has pressures 𝑝1 and 𝑝2at levels 𝑧1 and 𝑧2
respectively. What is the pressure difference in terms of these levels?
